GetCheckupX ("we", "our", "us") is a personal and family health records management application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.
We may collect the following information when you use our services:
• Account information (name, email, phone number)
• Health documents you choose to upload (lab reports, prescriptions, imaging reports)
• Medical ID details you enter (e.g. blood group, allergies, conditions)
• Emergency contact details you add, so we can alert them if your emergency badge is scanned
• Health expense entries you record
• Device information and basic usage data
Your information is used to:
• Store and organize your health records and Medical ID
• Display your emergency information when your badge or QR is scanned
• Send emergency alerts to your designated emergency contacts
• Provide medicine reminders and other app features you enable
• Maintain, secure, and improve our services
Your information is stored securely using trusted cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase) and, where applicable, on your own device. We use encryption and secure connections (HTTPS) to protect your data in transit. We do not sell your personal or health data to any third party.
When your GCX emergency badge or QR code is scanned, we may send an outbound alert (SMS, voice, or messaging) to the emergency contacts you have added, so they know their loved one may need help. These alerts are sent through a trusted messaging service provider used solely for this purpose.
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
• Google Firebase (secure authentication and storage)
• A trusted messaging service provider (to deliver emergency alerts only)
You have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Correct or update your information
• Delete your data and your account
• Request a copy of your data
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your records or your entire account at any time from within the app. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, email support@getcheckupx.com and we will process your request.
GetCheckupX is intended for adults aged 18 and over. An adult may create and manage family health profiles, including profiles for minors, on behalf of their family. The app is not directed to, and is not intended for independent use by, children. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

This is the number GCX uses only to send outbound alerts (SMS, WhatsApp, voice call) to your designated emergency contacts when someone scans your GCX emergency badge. If this number rings or texts a family member, it means their loved one's badge has been scanned and they need urgent help — please save it in your phone and ask all family contacts to do the same. Pick up — it is NOT spam.
